About Me

I am a pulmonologist and hospitalist very interested in quality improvement and patient safety. I have previously been involved in iimproving safety of flexible bronchoscopy, improving quality of cystic fibrosis care, and improving quality of inpatient asthma care. I am a member of the Pulmonology Section, Hospital Medicine Group, Quality and Patient Safety Group(s) and Patient Safety Officer at Arkansas Children's Hospital. My current efforts are focused on moving the impetus for imrpoving patient safety from hospital administration to frontline staff and training pediatric residents to be leaders in patient safety initiatives.

About Me

I completed my pediatric residency at RWJ in New Brunswick, NJ in 2004 and worked as a pediatric hospitalist for a year before starting a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship in 2005 which I completed in 2008. Since then I have been a pediatric hospitalist with Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ where I spend the majority of time being a pediatric hospitalist, but still able to perform inpatient ID consults and occasional outpatient ID visits.
